What our guests say
Real reviews left by our guests on Google, Tripadvisor and GetYourGuide.
“We had a wonderful tour! Our guide was a young man from Italy who was studying international relations in The Hague, which was an interesting perspective. He went out of his way to show us exactly what we wanted to see. We took the tram from The Hague to Delft, and Delft was really worth seeing. Overall a great day.”
“We were picked up at our hotel in Amsterdam by a nice young man. He brought us to The Hague, Delft and back. Everything went perfect and we absolutely loved this trip. Our highlight was the art museum in The Hague with the strange name ;)”
“A great tour that has exceeded our expectations. We knew that Delft was beautiful already, but we had no idea that The Hague is also very charming. And of course, our guide did a good job bringing the history of both places to live. Thanks! Madelein and Joseph.”

What to expect
Meet in The Hague or Delft
Your guide meets you in the middle of Plein in The Hague, or at the statue of Hugo Grotius on the Markt in Delft. You start in one city and end in the other, so the order is yours.
This tour has two starting points, one in each city. Pick whichever suits where you are staying and tell us when you book: Statue of Hugo Grotius in Delft or Plein in The Hague. You can also choose a custom starting location. Just add it as a comment when you book.
The Binnenhof and the political heart
The parliament complex at the centre of The Hague, and the oldest government building in the world still in use today. Your guide explains how a courtyard beside a pond became the seat of a country.
Palaces, embassies and grand streets
Past royal palaces, the embassy quarter and the smart shopping streets, with the stories behind the facades: not only ceremony, but the murders and executions that shaped Dutch politics.
The transfer to Delft
The short hop between the two cities is included and your guide travels with you, so the change of scene comes with the explanation of why the two cities are so different.
Delft's Markt, churches and canals
The market square between the New Church and the Renaissance city hall, the Old Church leaning visibly out of true, and the quiet canal streets behind them.
Vermeer, William of Orange and the Golden Age
The city Johannes Vermeer never left, and where William of Orange was assassinated in 1584. Your guide ties the painters, the pottery and the politics into one story.
